Local Treasure
Being so close to the Adirondacks, I sometimes forget how beautiful some of the local scenery can be. I took my brother and mother, who are in town, for a hike on small, local trail on the Black River just outside Fort Drum. We didn't plan it this way, but we were hiking out just as the sun was getting ready to set.
